David Thwaites

David Thwaites helps create scripted audio content for Audio Up and oversees adaptations for film and television.

A film and television producer with a breadth of industry experience, he has produced/executive produced ten feature films including Academy Award best picture nominee BLACK SWAN (for which Natalie Portman won the Academy Award) and the record-breaking box office hit reboot of HALLOWEEN which he initiated and spearheaded. In television he has developed multiple shows with companies including HBO, Hulu, F/X, Peacock, The CW, eOne and Endeavor Content.

Prior to Audio Up, he held leadership positions at Peter Berg and Michael Lombardo’s Film 44, Miramax, Mike Medavoy’s Phoenix Pictures and had a production deal with The Weinstein Company, where he was tasked with troubleshooting multiple projects.
