Julián Prado has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a particular focus on project management and network implementation.

Julián currently serves as a Project Manager at AudioCodes, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BT as a Regional Project Manager from 2018 to 2022, where they managed various high-budget projects, including the deployment of a new MPLS network for Johnson & Johnson and the separation of Latam Banking Operations as part of the Rubik program. Julián also managed the OCC solutions deployment for an Atradius customer in Turkey.

Before joining BT, Julián worked at Claro as an Ingeniero Operación Red de Acceso from 2013 to 2018. In this role, they led regulatory projects to measure quality standards for mobile networks and provided broadband internet to public rural schools. Julián also managed operation and maintenance contracts with different vendors for transmission platforms.

Prior to that, they were employed at Anditel S.A.S as a Senior Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Julián'sresponsibilities included designing technical proposals for telecom network projects, evaluating different technologies and solutions, and supporting the planning and execution of new business units.

Julián also has experience at Huawei Techonologies Co., Ltd. Julián served as a Project Manager from 2011 to 2012, where they implemented large-scale optical network projects for telco providers. Julián also worked as a Senior Support Engineer, leading the high-level support team for Telefonica-Telecom Transmission Networks.

Additionally, Julian worked at Huawei Techonologies Co., Ltd. from 2005 to 2008 as a Project Manager, responsible for building and expanding transmission networks. Julián also held the role of Transmission Engineer, supervising installations and commissioning equipment.

Earlier in their career, Julián worked as an Enterprise Technical Router at Microsoft Latam, Atento Colombia in 2004, providing technical support to corporate customers. Julián also worked as a Training Engineer, Subcontractor at Gilat Satellite Networks, where they conducted technical inspections and provided training sessions on IT tools and applications.

Julián Prado completed their Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Wollongong from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander from 1996 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Julián Prado has obtained several certifications. In August 2020, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
