Jonathan Cano

Jonathan Cano has a work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Jonathan began their career in 1992 at Tandem Computers/Compaq/HP as a software engineer, where they developed a custom RPC mechanism and cross-platform development environment. Jonathan also maintained a tokenring NIC driver and developed a mainframe network subsystem manager. In 1999, they joined MMC Networks/AMCC as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in developing device drivers for traffic manager chips and designing a modular device driver architecture.

In 2002, Cano moved to Maranti Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, working on embedded software design and traffic manager drivers. Jonathan then joined Juniper Networks in 2005 as a Member of technical staff, and remained with the company until 2016.

In 2016, Cano joined Gainspeed, Inc. as a Software Developer, and continued in that role until 2020. Jonathan then joined Nokia as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until July 2020. Jonathan is currently working as a Software Engineer at Augtera Networks since July 2020.

Jonathan Cano earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer and Information Systems from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Jonathan attended the university from 1990 to 1992.
