Daniel Evans has over a decade of experience in various roles within the Augusta, Georgia Government, notably as a Grant Writer, Community Development Manager, and Planning Development Supervisor since November 2012. Key achievements include drafting the 2014 5-Year Consolidated Plan for a HUD entitlement grant, coordinating a city-wide Homeless Management Information System to enhance service delivery, and administering the city's Enterprise Zone Tax Program while developing a comprehensive policy manual. Additionally, Daniel Evans authored the first Governance Charter for the local Continuum of Care for the Homeless. Prior experience includes serving as the HMIS/CoC Coordinator for the Augusta - Richmond County Continuum of Care for the Homeless from 2012 to 2019. Daniel Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Augusta State University, completed in 2009.
