Christopher Palmer has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Christopher began their career as a Research Scientist and Army Scholarship Program (ACTEDs) at the U.S. Army CCDC Soldier Center. From 2013 to 2021, they held positions such as Lead Scientist for Embedded Performance Optimization (EPO), Lead for Wearable Electronics Portfolio Development at Reebok, Principal Consultant and Lead Scientist for Defense and Wearable Electronics at Galvion, Chief Technology Officer at Galvion, Chief Scientist and Senior Consultant at HUXWRX Safety Co., and Senior Scientist and Combat Developer- Operator and Small Unit Performance at Augustine Consulting, Inc. In 2019, they also served as a Coach and Mentor at The Honor Foundation. In 2021, they joined Ravn, Inc. as a Member of the Board of Advisors. Additionally, Christopher Palmer has been an Adjunct Professor at the Sensory-Motor Control Laboratory in the Kinesiology Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since 2012.
Christopher Palmer has a diverse educational background. Christopher obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst between 1988 and 1992. Christopher then obtained a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology/Wearable Electronics from the same institution between 1992 and 1994. Christopher went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy in Perception - Action Coupling with Advanced Technology in High Stress Environments from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, Christopher Palmer has obtained certifications in Acquisition Law, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Level III Program Management, Level III Systems Planning, Research, Development, & Engineering, NAUI LEVEL II OPENWATER DIVING, and Navy and Army Acquisition Corps Membership from various institutions.
