Mara Lidacis, MPH has a diverse work experience in the health and wellness field. Mara is currently working as a Content Creator at Aura Health since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Holistic Wellness Coach at YourCoach.Health starting from October 2022. Mara also worked as the Mind-Body Services Director at Awaken Mind & Body from August 2022.

Before joining Awaken Mind & Body, Mara had their own business called Mara Andra, LLC. Mara worked as a Holistic Well-Being Coach, Reiki Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and Creative since May 2019. Mara provided services like Reiki, Holistic Life Coaching, and Private Yoga. In addition, they offered specialized 1:1 coaching packages and sold a 6-month, undated life planner through their website.

From May 2018 to May 2022, Mara worked as a Health Coach for Noom Inc., a health and wellness tech startup. Mara was part of their Healthy Weight program, providing virtual coaching to help people lead healthier lives.

Mara's earlier experiences include working as the Director of Community Health Education at the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois from December 2012 to June 2015. Mara also served as the Communications Manager at Namaste Charter School from October 2011 to December 2012. In this role, they focused on implementing a holistic approach to education, including wellness programming and healthy meals.

Before that, Mara worked as an Editing Consultant at Special Olympics from October 2011 to August 2012. Mara also served as a School Health Programs Intern at Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC) from September 2010 to June 2011.

Mara began their career as an Intake Assistant in the Office of International Students and Scholars at DePaul University from February 2010 to December 2010. Their broad range of experiences has contributed to their expertise and knowledge in the field of health and wellness.

Mara Lidacis, MPH attended DePaul University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Public Health degree. Mara then enrolled in Western Michigan University from 2013 to 2014 to pursue coursework in Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness, obtaining a graduate certificate.

Prior to their graduate studies, Mara Lidacis attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2002 to 2006. Mara completed their undergraduate education there, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.

In addition to their formal education, Mara Lidacis has obtained several certifications. In July 2018, they became a Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach through the National Diabetes Prevention Program and Noomversity. In June 2015, they obtained a 200-Hour Yoga Certification from Bloom Yoga Studio. In August 2014, Mara Lidacis became a Trained Facilitator for the Stanford Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. Mara also obtained an In Person Counselor - Health Insurance Navigator certification from the State of Illinois in November 2013.
