Caio Vieira

Caio Vieira is an experienced mining professional with a diverse background in mine planning and operations. Currently serving as Mine Planning Superintendent at Aura Minerals Inc since April 2022, Caio previously held key positions at CMOC Brasil as Coordinator of Consultative Mine Operations, JR SERVICES LIMITED as Mining Engineer, Yamana Gold Inc. as Senior Mining Engineer and Department Head, and Anglo American in various engineering roles. Caio began their career at Votorantim Metais S.A. as a trainee and subsequently as a full mining engineer. Educational credentials include a degree in Mining Engineering from Escola De Minas, an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and an MBA in Leadership, Innovation, and Management 4.0 with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
