Hilary Donnell

Hilary Donnell has extensive experience in the field of communications and public affairs. Hilary'smost recent role is as the Head of Partnerships & Public Affairs at Aura, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility & Public Affairs at Aura starting in January 2022. Hilary joined Aura in June 2021 as a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.

Before joining Aura, Hilary worked at FleishmanHillard as the Vice President, Corporate Reputation, Impact and Responsibility from June 2019 to June 2021. Hilary also served as the Managing Supervisor, Corporate Reputation, Impact and Responsibility from January 2018 to June 2019.

Prior to FleishmanHillard, Hilary worked as an Account Director at FischTank from January 2017 to January 2018. Hilary also held various roles at Weber Shandwick, including Account Supervisor, Corporate from June 2016 to January 2017, Senior Account Executive, Corporate from April 2015 to May 2016, Account Executive, Corporate from June 2014 to March 2015, and Assistant Account Executive, Corporate from June 2013 to June 2014.

Hilary's earlier experience includes working as part of the Event Planning and Public Relations team at The Brand Guild from January 2013 to May 2013, and as a Marketing and Corporate Communications intern at Frost & Sullivan from November 2012 to December 2012.

Hilary gained valuable experience as a Public Affairs Intern at Powell Tate from June 2012 to August 2012, and as a Lobbying Intern at McBee Strategic Consulting from June 2011 to August 2011.

Hilary began their career with internships at The Welcome to America Project in July 2010 and the Foundation for Senior Living from June 2010 to August 2010.

Hilary Donnell has a diverse education history. Hilary earned a BA in Public Communications, Justice and Public Policy from American University. Hilary also participated in the FIE - Internship Program at Imperial College London, focusing on Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, they completed the International Baccalaureate program at Leysin American School in Switzerland, majoring in Higher Level English, Psychology, and History. Hilary also studied Standard Level Environmental Science, Math, and French. Hilary Donnell attended Palos Verdes High School for their secondary education.
