Tae Kang has a diverse range of work experience in customer support and service roles. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Director of Customer Support/Service at Digidesign for three years. Tae then moved on to be the Sr. Director of Member Services at EXP Systems from 1999 to 2000. Tae then joined Tivo as the Sr. Director of Customer Care from 2001 to 2002. From 2003 to 2004, they served as the Director of Customer Care at Mailblocks. In 2001, Tae co-founded Dr. DVD and remained with the company until 2007. Tae then worked at AOL/Time Warner as a Sr. Product Manager before taking on the role of Senior Director of Community & Customer Service at Gaia Interactive from 2008 to 2012. Tae then became the Vice President of Community & Support at Listia Inc. from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they became the Sr. Director of Player Experience (Customer Support & Service) at Kabam until 2016. Most recently, Tae worked as the Sr. Director of Customer Support & Service at Aura starting in 2017.
Tae Kang completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from San Jose State University from 1985 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at Golden Gate University from 1994 to 1996.
