Christian Mathesius

Christian Mathesius serves as the Managing Director at AURELIUS GROUP since April 2023. Previously, Christian held the position of CEO and Member of the Executive Board at Franke Foodservice Systems from January 2019 to May 2022, where record sales of CHF 1.1 billion were achieved in 2021. Prior roles include President of the Business Unit EMEA at Franke Foodservice Systems from 2012 to 2018, where substantial sales growth of 60% was realized. Before Franke, Christian worked as Marketing Director and Head of Business Segment DX at Hilti Group, contributing to significant sales and profitability growth. Christian began a career in consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and also held positions at Siemens as an Engineer and Project Manager. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
