Simon Davis

Simon Davis is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at AuriGen Medical since May 2023, and previously held a similar position at Surmodics, Inc. from April 2018 to August 2024. At Surmodics, Simon developed multiple medical devices, including Radial Access Peripheral PTA catheters and Thrombectomy Devices, while leading and collaborating on various projects. Prior to that, Simon worked as a Product Design Engineer at Cameron from June 2014 to April 2018, focusing on the design of control chokes. An internship at ESB in 2012 provided early exposure to electronic engineering in safety assessments. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin and a degree in eBioPharmaChem from GetReskilled Inc.
