Michael Tooley

Michael Tooley is the former Director of the Montana Department of Transportation and chair of the AASHTO committee on safety. Prior to his position at the Montana DOT, Michael was the Chief of Montana Highway Patrol and served as a Colonel in the U.S. Naval Reserve force, in a public service career spanning over 35 years. Michael leads Aurigo’s Industry Strategy Group with a focus on Roads and Highways. The group advises major transportation agencies across the country on technology and business strategies that support the newly passed $1.2 trillion IIJA. Michael is a graduate of Grand Canyon University and the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
