Ranjan Chaudhuri has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ranjan began their career at Hindustan Unilever Ltd as a Management Trainee, where they played a key role in the national turnaround plan for Lipton's Yellow Label brand. Ranjan then became an Area Sales Manager at the same company.

Chaudhuri later joined GSK, where they held various positions, including Global Innovation Director in the Analgesics category and Global Head of eMarketing. Ranjan also served as the Global Business Leader for Smoking Reduction & Cessation, achieving significant growth and driving incremental revenues. Additionally, they led the Flame divestment project and played a crucial role in portfolio optimization and supply chain transformation.

Ranjan Chaudhuri began their education in 1970 at St. Paul's School in Darjeeling, where they pursued ISC 12 with a focus on English, History, and Geography. After completing their secondary education in 1978, they enrolled at St. Xavier's College in 1979, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from 1979 to 1982. Seeking further academic advancement, Ranjan attended the Institute of Modern Management (IMM) from 1982 to 1984, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing.
