Heather Catizone, PHR has over nine years of experience in Human Resources. Heather began their career in 2012 as a Call Center Representative at Hansen Technologies. Heather then moved up to Administrative Assistant and Quality Assurance & Training Specialist (Contract to Perm) before becoming Team Supervisor. In 2016, they were promoted to HR Advisor, where they managed labor relations and oversaw the compassionate layoff of 50+ employees. Heather also successfully led the organization through the roll-out of a new Performance Management system. Additionally, they identified and drove HR automation through the use of technology, such as PowerBI, Power Automate, and other out-of-the-box Microsoft solutions. Heather also modernized recruitment, onboarding, and reward programs which reduced the average time-to-fill technical positions from 187 days to 65 days and annual turnover rate from 24.3% to 12%. Heather is currently also working as a Human Resources Coordinator.
Heather Catizone, PHR, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Project Management from Colorado State University Global between 2017 and 2019. Heather also obtained a Specialization in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from Colorado State University Global during the same time period. In addition, they have obtained five certifications from LinkedIn since 2019, including Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues in 2020, Creating a Culture of Learning and Developing Managers in Organizations in 2020, Human Resources: Payroll in 2019, and Technical Recruiting in 2019.
