Richard Driscoll

Richard Driscoll is a seasoned professional in hardware engineering, currently serving as Vice President of Hardware Engineering at Aurora since February 2018, following roles as Senior Director and Director in the same field. Prior experience includes leading hardware design for Autopilot systems as Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla and serving as a Hardware Test Engineer at X, the moonshot factory. Richard has also held positions at Oracle Team USA and URS Corporation. Richard holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego. Additionally, Richard has education from the Rady School of Management.
