Marcelle Gammal has over two decades of experience in human resources and leadership roles. Marcelle currently serves as the Group Chief People Officer at Aurrum since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Human Resources Director at Amplifon, responsible for the HR team and reporting to the Australian General Manager and APAC Human Resources. Marcelle also worked as the Director of People & Culture at The iQ Group Global and Director of Human Resources at National Geographic, where they played a key role in integrating divisions and supporting employees through change. Marcelle also has experience as a consultant, providing HR services to various industries. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at Twentieth Century Fox, Nine, and GE.
Marcelle Gammal began their education in 2020 at AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration, Change (MBA) degree. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they attended the University of West London and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business and Human Resources Management.
Alongside their formal education, Marcelle obtained several additional certifications. In 2019, they completed the Hogan 360 certification at Peter Berry Consultancy, and in 2018, they obtained the Hogan Assessment certification from the same institution. Earlier, in 2007, Marcelle received the CAHRI certification from the Australian HR Institute.
Furthermore, Marcelle has engaged in various short courses and programs. In 2013, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors for an unspecified program. In 2011, they acquired a Coaching Certificate from the Institute of Applied Psychology, specializing in Executive Coaching. Lastly, from 2008 to 2010, Marcelle participated in a program focused on Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) at the Institute of Applied Psychology.
