Austin Peay State University
Zach Raphael is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Music Department at Austin Peay State University, where responsibilities include leading the Clarksville Children's Chorus and supporting the University Orchestra's cello section. Previous experience includes serving as an El Sistema Lehigh Valley Teaching Artist, directing orchestral string sectionals and rehearsals for 3rd-12th grade students, and working as an Operations and Administrative Assistant at Philadelphia Sinfonia Association, handling program design and ticketing. Additional roles include Cello Instructor at Snyder School of Singing, Student Chamber Music Manager at The University of the South, and contributing to The Crossing Choir's world premiere of Ted Hearne’s Farming. Zach has also managed concert venues for the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill and worked with the Museum of the American Revolution and the Great Basin Institute as a visitor engagement associate and Americorps volunteer, respectively. Zach holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Ithaca College and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Education at Austin Peay State University.
