Austin Street Center
Steve Fincher has extensive experience in shelter management and operations, currently serving as Director of Operations at Austin Street Center since May 2016, with previous roles including Assistant Director of Operations and Night Manager. Prior to this, Steve worked at Arlington Life Shelter from April 2014 to May 2016 as a Resident Assistant and also as a Fundraising Specialist. Earlier in their career, Steve held the position of Assistant Vice President at Bank of America, where responsibilities included implementing treasury services for corporate clients and leading project management efforts. Steve holds a diploma from Lancaster High School and furthered education at Argosy University.

For over 30 years, Austin Street Center has been committed to providing emergency shelter, food, and clothing to homeless men and women in Dallas. Through crisis intervention, case-management, transitional housing, and work readiness programs, Austin Street Center exists to provide the support and life skills necessary to achieve independence free of charge to more than 2,700 individuals annually.
