Rubey Williams

Rubey Williams is an accomplished agricultural professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the alpaca industry. Currently serving as co-owner of Suri Alliance Alpaca Stud since June 2023, Rubey contributes to an international partnership focused on advancing the suri alpaca breed through innovative reproductive technologies and live-export strategies. Additionally, Rubey holds the position of Alpaca Halter & Fleece Judge at the Australian Alpaca Association Ltd since July 2022 and has been a joint owner at Coolawarra & Storybook Alpacas since January 2013, along with co-owning Storybook Alpacas since 2003. In the past, Rubey worked as a fleece classer at Waratah Alpaca Fibre from June 2018 to July 2024 and is currently a barista at The Courtyard Cafe Berrima since August 2019. Rubey is pursuing a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management at Charles Sturt University, expected to graduate in June 2026, and previously studied medicine at the University of Wollongong before transitioning to agricultural studies.
