Elliot Steel

Elliot Steel is an Investment Associate at the Australian Business Growth Fund. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company from February 2018 to April 2021. Elliot has also worked as a Researcher at the University of Tasmania, VCSI, and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Elliot's work has spanned physical oceanography, conducting analysis and modelling of conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) measurements, deployment to the Gruber Mountains, Queen Maud Land, geophysical data acquisition under perpetually ice-covered lakes and in the surrounding environment, and conducting research regarding changes/warming in Antarctic Bottom Water near Heard Island in the Southern Ocean. Elliot Steel is a geoscientist with a passion for exploring and understanding our planet.

Elliot Steel studied exploration geophysics and geosciences at The University of Queensland. Elliot also completed a secondary college program at The Australian National University, where they studied mathematics. In high school, they studied mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English at The Canberra College.
