Eloise Birch has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Eloise started their career as a Summer Law Clerk at Mellor Olsson in 2012, followed by a Summer Law Clerk position at Steinepreis Paganin in 2013. Later in 2013, they worked as a Legal Practice Placement Clerk at Kelly & Co. Lawyers and as a Winter Law Clerk at Allens.

In 2014, Eloise joined Allens, where they began as a Graduate before becoming a Lawyer and then an Associate. Eloise stayed with the company until 2018, during which they gained significant experience in the legal industry.

Starting in 2016, Eloise also had secondee positions, serving as the Secondee Corporate Counsel Iron Ore at Rio Tinto from August 2016 to February 2017. Eloise then worked as a Secondee Legal Counsel at St Barbara Limited from March 2017 to April 2017, and as a Secondee Legal Consultant at Esso Australia Pty Ltd from April 2017 to November 2017.

In 2018, Eloise joined the AFL (Australian Football League) as a Senior Legal Counsel. Eloise currently holds the position of Head of Legal at the same organization.

Eloise Birch attended Pembroke School from 1999 to 2006, but did not earn a degree. Later, they pursued higher education at Flinders University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Honors) degree as well as a Bachelor of International Studies degree. The field of study for both degrees is not provided.
