Fleur Fergie has a diverse work experience, ranging from coordinating residential camps to volunteering for various organizations. Starting in 2023, Fergie worked as the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre Residential Camp Coordinator at the AFL - Australian Football League. In the same year, they also served as a Team Leader at Red Dust Role Models. From 2018 to 2021, Fergie worked as the Senior Boarding Coordinator at the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School. Prior to that, they were the Youth Program Coordinator and later the Project Manager at the Thathangathay Foundation from 2014 to 2017. Fergie also volunteered as a Recognise Youth Workshop facilitator in 2016 and as a Volunteer at the National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy in 2016. Additionally, they served as a Student Volunteer at the Wirrpanda Foundation from 2010 to 2013. Fergie's involvement as a Student Volunteer for the Royal Life Saving - Western Australia in 2012 included promoting water safety awareness. Finally, in 2011, they were a Student Volunteer for the WA AIDS Council INC, involved in the K.I.S program.

Fleur Fergie completed their Bachelor of Health Science degree with a specialization in Health Promotion at Edith Cowan University from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained the Pool Bronze Medallion certification from Life Saving Victoria in July 2019 and the HLTAID003 certification from Allens Training in January 2018.
