National Schools Innovative Venue Growth Lead at Australian Football League

Jenelle Williamson has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Jenelle began their career in 2004 as a Manager of sport and recreation at the City of Wodonga, where they worked until 2018. During their time there, they gained valuable experience and knowledge in the field.

In 2018, Jenelle joined SMC Strategies as a Senior Consultant. Jenelle worked in this role until 2020, providing their expertise and insights to clients.

In 2020, they briefly worked at Towong Shire Council as an Acting Director of Community and Planning.

In 2018, Jenelle also started working as a Recreation Planning Consultant, a role they held until 2022.

From 2022 to 2023, they worked at AFL Victoria as a Country Football Manager, where they played a key role in managing and supporting country football programs.

Currently, Jenelle is working at the AFL - Australian Football League as a National schools innovative venue growth lead, a position they have held since 2023.

Throughout their career, Jenelle has gained a wealth of experience in various roles within the sports and recreation industry, showcasing their passion and commitment for the field.

Jenelle Williamson attended Federation University Australia from 1999 to 2002, where they studied sports management and information technology. Jenelle then went on to pursue a graduate diploma in management at La Trobe University. Additionally, they obtained another graduate diploma from La Trobe University, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
