Nick Harrington

Nick Harrington has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Nick started their career in 2017 as a Marketing & Events Assistant at Melbourne University Sport, where they worked until July 2020. In November 2017, they joined the AFL (Australian Football League) as an AFL Membership Officer, a role they held until October 2019. From November 2019, they took on the position of Corporate Sales & Premium Membership Officer at the AFL. In 2021, Nick was approached to join Deakin University's Sport Management Advisory Board as the sole undergraduate student representative, where they serve till February 2023. Additionally, they gained experience as a Strategy Intern at Gemba from March 2022 to May 2022.

Nick Harrington is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) degree at Deakin University, from 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, they attended Princes Hill Secondary College for their Victorian Certificate of Education starting in 2016. Alongside their formal education, Nick Harrington has obtained additional certifications including "Managing Budgets and Financial Plans" from the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in March 2022, "First Aid & CPR" from Hero Head Quarters in November 2021, and "Responsible Service of Alcohol" from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation in February 2017.
