Nioka Tyson

Nioka Tyson has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Practice Lead at the AFL - Australian Football League since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Social Worker in the ED/ICU/PANDA department at St Vincent's Health Network Sydney from October 2018 to April 2022. Nioka also served as a School to Work - Project Officer at the National Rugby League from July 2017 to October 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at RECOGNISE as a Youth Campaign Coordinator from October 2015 to July 2017, and as a Project Officer from March 2014 to September 2015.

Nioka Tyson's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Sydney between 2012 and 2015. Nioka then pursued a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Redesign at the University of Tasmania from 2019 to 2020. Currently, in 2022 and 2023, they are attending UNSW to obtain a Master's degree in Counselling.
