Mahesh Alimchandani

Head Of Navigation at Australian Maritime Safety Authority

Mahesh Alimchandani has a diverse work experience in maritime safety and navigation. Mahesh served as the Head of Navigation at the Australian Maritime Safety Authority starting in November 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Search and Rescue Coordinator at MRCC, Australia from December 1993 to December 2000. Mahesh also has extensive experience as a Deck Officer in various capacities at Gulf East, Singha Ship Mngmnt & Maersk from 1977 to 1991.

Mahesh Alimchandani pursued a Master in Business Administration from the University of Canberra between 1996 and 1998. Further to this, they also obtained a Master Class 1 Certificate of Competency from AMSA, which was renewed in 2011.
