Esther Bailey

Esther Bailey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and systems transformation. Currently serving as Head of Systems Transformation at the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation since November 2022, Esther has previously held significant positions, including Director of Climate Risk Adaptation and Net Zero Emissions at NSW Treasury and Chair of the Expert Reference Panel for Materials and Supply Chain at the Green Building Council of Australia. Esther's background also includes roles at ACTA, NABERS, and the City of Sydney, focusing on sustainability engagement and market development, alongside operational leadership at Enact Energy and Neco Sustainability Solutions. With a Post-graduate Certificate in Social Impact from UNSW and a BA Hons in Social Psychology from the University of Sussex, Esther has consistently contributed to advancing sustainability initiatives across various sectors.
