NSW Leadership Committee Member at Australian Red Cross

Kerry-Anne Johnston is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in education, philanthropy, and advisory roles. Currently serving as Chair at Jaycar Electronics Group since May 2021 and as the Founder and Director at the Bayard Foundation since June 2018, Kerry-Anne also holds the position of Director on the NSW Advisory Board of Starlight Children's Foundation Australia since February 2017. In addition, Kerry-Anne has been an Ambassador for the FSHD Global Research Foundation since 2015 and a member of the NSW Leadership Committee for the Australian Red Cross, where Kerry-Anne has had significant roles since August 2015. Previous positions include being a Committee Member for the Sydney Modern Campaign at the Art Gallery of NSW and serving as Director for the Charlie Teo Foundation, which focuses on brain cancer research. Kerry-Anne's career in education spanned from June 1986 to June 2004, including roles as a Primary Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Mathematics Consultant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Gifted and Talented from UNSW, along with a Teaching Diploma from the same institution.
