Paul Baker is an experienced leader in technology and infrastructure services, currently serving as Assistant Commissioner (GM) - Infrastructure Services at the Australian Taxation Office since February 2019. In this role, Paul is responsible for overseeing the ATO’s Enterprise Technology Infrastructure Services and Operations, managing a team of over 250 staff and multiple vendors within a critical digital environment. Prior to this, Paul held various leadership positions, including Program Director at IAG and multiple roles at ANZ, where responsibilities included strategic oversight of technology investments and service management. Paul's extensive career spans companies such as AXA and NCR Corporation, where significant contributions were made in service management, project delivery, and consulting. Paul’s educational background includes training from the British Ministry of Defence.
