Josh Riley

Josh Riley is an experienced professional in trade and investment, currently serving as Consul General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for Canada at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) since February 2021. Prior roles include Deputy Chair and Director at NAISDA Dance College, Chair of the Indigenous Technology, Trade and Investment Workstream at the Australia New Zealand Leadership Forum, and Director of Corporate Citizenship at the Business Council of Australia. Josh also held the position of Director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and managed Indigenous engagement strategies at Commonwealth Bank. An early career at ANZ included various roles in retail banking and foreign exchange. Josh holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, with a focus on finance and human resource management.
