Peter Denovan

Peter Denovan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, governance, and accounting. Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Accounting & Policy at AustralianSuper since April 2021, Peter has held various leadership roles including Head of Fund Accounting at Togethr Trustees and Head of Corporate Governance at UniSuper. Peter's expertise encompasses financial statement management, APRA reporting, and corporate governance, supported by a background in regulatory compliance from ASIC and financial accounting at ANZ. Peter's career also includes significant roles in financial consulting at PwC Australia and finance management at Foster's Group Limited. Peter holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, alongside a designation from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
