Job description

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Auterion, you will serve as the bridge between our technical team and our customers, ensuring that complex technical problems are resolved efficiently and that our customers' technical needs and challenges are proactively addressed. You will focus on enhancing customer satisfaction, deepening account relationships, and ensuring a seamless technical experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of customers, guiding them through technical processes and ensuring they derive maximum value from our solutions.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations, ensuring they are engaged, informed, and satisfied with our solutions and services, in order to drive upsell and expansion opportunities.
  • Issue Resolution: Interface on technical issues and work closely with our engineering teams to coordinate and expedite solutions, providing timely updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with customers to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, developing tailored plans that align Auterion's services with their long-term goals.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within Auterion, sharing insights and feedback with our product development teams to guide enhancements and new features.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain deep technical knowledge of Auterion's products and services, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide expert advice and support.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: work with internal departments, such as finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of sales-related activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years experience in a technical account management role, ideally within  startups, scale-ups with experience in robotics technologies an added bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to work with customers on long-term solutions and helping map our capabilities to their business needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally
