Naoko Komura has over 20 years of work experience, beginning with their role as Project Manager at Cygnus Solutions in 1998. Naoko then moved on to Postini as Senior Program Manager in 1999, where they led the development of a cloud-based email security service. In 2005, Naoko joined Yahoo! as Senior Program Manager, where they bridged the engineering and product teams of Yahoo! and Yahoo! Japan. In 2008, they were appointed Head of User Experience Programs at Wikimedia Foundation, where they led the Wikipedia Usability Initiative. In 2012, Naoko joined remot3.it as VP of Client Services and User Experience, where they collaborated with OEM Partners to develop Android and iOS apps for In. Sight. Finally, in 2019, Naoko joined Authentic8 as Technical Program Manager.
Naoko Komura has an extensive educational background. Naoko holds a Master of Arts (MA) in International Development Policy from Stanford University, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Economics from Kobe University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Studies from Osaka University. In addition, Naoko has obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Art and Science of Machine Learning (2019), Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform (2019), Feature Engineering (2019), Intro to TensorFlow (2019), How Google does Machine Learning (2018), and Launching into Machine Learning (2018). Naoko also has a certification in Energy Management and Climate Change from De Anza College.
