Gene Cohen

Gene Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gene started their career as a Software Engineer at Brooktrout Technology in 1987 and later became a Director at Graphnet from 1990 to 1998. In 1998, they founded and served as the President of IPX Inc., a VoIP clearinghouse service company. After the successful sale of IPX Inc. in 2001, they became the Owner of Excelity, LLC. from 2002 to 2006.

In 2006, Gene joined VoodooVox as the SVP Operations/CTO, where they played a key role in the development and operation of the company's In-Call Media advertising network. Gene then served as the COO of ZenoRadio from 2014 to 2016, contributing to the growth and expansion of the company's audio content platform.

From 2014 to 2021, Gene was the CEO of Targalytics, Inc., where they applied analytic models and big-data algorithms to enhance advertising efficacy in social/mobile networks. During this time, they also founded Seated Technologies, where they served as the CTO and led the implementation of the first dynamic pricing platform for restaurants.

Most recently, Gene founded and became the CTO of Authoritive in 2020. Overall, Gene has demonstrated strong leadership and technological expertise in various industries, including advertising, telecommunications, and software development.

Gene Cohen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they also attained a certification in the field of Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management in June 2020.
