Shabir Ladak Fcca

Shabir Ladak has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Shabir began their career at Birmingham City Council in 1991 as a Finance Manager and eventually rose to the position of Head of Finance, where they served for 27 years until 2018. In 2018, they joined BCOP as an Interim Chief Executive Officer before moving on to Autism West Midlands in 2023, where they currently hold the position of Director of Finance & Resources.

Shabir Ladak FCCA obtained a Diploma in Management in Public Sector Management from the University of Birmingham, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a BSC Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Kent, which they completed from 1979 to 1982. In addition, they obtained the FCCA certification from CACA in 1991.
