Robert Deas

Robert Deas is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive management experience in various senior roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Autocar Trucks since April 2024, Robert previously held a similar position at Triz Engineering Services from February 2023 to April 2024. Prior to that, roles at Isuzu Motors South Africa included Department Executive - Engineering, General Manager Engineering, and Engineering Services Manager, where responsibilities focused on project engineering and budgeting. Robert's career also includes significant positions at General Motors, encompassing Engineering Manager - Quality, Reliability and Durability, Liaison Manager, and Vehicle Engineering Manager. Robert holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and completed Matric Exemption at Selborne College.
