Anser Mahmood

Anser Mahmood has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2015, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences, where they assisted with lectures, maintained attendance records, checked assignments, and held office hours. In 2016, they continued as a Teaching Assistant at the university, fulfilling similar responsibilities.

In 2016, Mahmood joined Meezan Bank Limited as an FX-Dealer, managing the currency desk and trading currencies. Anser developed currency forecasts for clients, processed transactions, and managed internal MIS. Anser worked in this role until 2018.

Afterwards, Mahmood joined Packages Limited as a Summer Intern in 2019, gaining experience in a different industry. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant - Consumer Research at Meezan Bank Limited. In this role, they conducted primary research, segmented consumers, and advised on digital banking adoption and strategies.

In 2020, Mahmood also had roles at vFairs as a Project Manager and at Lanop as a Finance Specialist. In 2021, they co-founded PFOC and joined Lanop Chartered Certified Accountants as a Business & Financial Consultant, providing consultancy services to clients and advising on acquisitions and financial models.

Currently, Mahmood is working at AutoLeap as a Senior Finance Manager, leading a team and overseeing finance operations for multiple entities. Anser is involved in managing projects to automate finance processes.

Anser Mahmood completed their higher secondary school education at Government College University (GCU), Lahore, from 2010 to 2012. Anser obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate with a focus on Pre-Engineering. After that, they enrolled at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) for their Bachelor's degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Anser pursued this degree from 2012 to 2016. Then, in 2018, they returned to LUMS to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with completion in 2020.
