Young Jung

Young Jung is a Senior Development Engineer at Autoliv since April 2023, with prior experience as Director of Innovation at CS America, Inc. from October 2021 to December 2022, where development of a special function polyester yarn was undertaken. Between January 2016 and August 2021, Young Jung served as Production and Quality Representative at Global Safety Textiles, focusing on productivity and quality improvements in automotive airbag manufacturing through lean manufacturing practices. Additionally, experience includes serving as Fabric Development Manager at Hyosung Corporation, managing fabric projects for activewear and protective wear from January 2009 to December 2015, and as R&D Manager at Welcron from January 2003 to January 2009, overseeing development and sourcing projects. Early career involvement included a role as a researcher at KOTITI from October 2000 to December 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Textile Sciences and Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Textile Sciences and Engineering, both from Sungkyunkwan University.
