Igor Khrol

Igor Khrol currently serves as the Head of Data Engineering at Automattic, a position held since February 2019. Prior to this role, Igor was self-employed as a Software Engineer, specializing in Scala, Python, React, TensorFlow, and statistics. Recent experience also includes serving as Quality Lead at Adform and Team Lead in the Analytics department at Toptal, where responsibilities included overseeing data-related topics such as ETL and machine learning. Igor has a strong background in automated testing, having held leadership roles at Wargaming.net as QA Automation Team Lead and as an Automated Testing Consultant at Tele2. Igor's career began at EPAM Systems, where training and consulting in automated testing were significant areas of focus, along with managing a large team for UI automation in an eCommerce product. Igor holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Belarusian State University.
