Kinsey Wilson

Kinsey Wilson is a seasoned media executive currently serving as the Founder and Head of Newspack at Automattic, a project aimed at supporting independent news organizations, since March 2018. In addition, Wilson holds the position of President at WordPress.com and serves on the board of Hark Audio. Prior experience includes strategic roles at The New York Times, where Wilson was a principal digital officer overseeing innovation and product development, and NPR, where Wilson was the EVP & Chief Content Officer, leading digital operations and programming. Earlier career highlights include executive positions at USA TODAY and Congressional Quarterly, where Wilson directed newsroom strategies and digital initiatives. Wilson is an alumnus of the University of Chicago, holding an AB in Political Science.
