Rocío Valdivia

Rockie C. is an accomplished Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, overseeing multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful outcomes in clinical manufacturing of biologics while facilitating global collaborations. Previously, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., where responsibilities included leading product development for genomics-based diagnostics and authoring a peer-reviewed publication on clinical biomarkers for kidney transplant patients. Prior experiences include roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II at Senti Biosciences, with a focus on gene therapy, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. Rockie began the academic journey with a Doctor of Philosophy in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
