Suvendu Moitra

Suvendu Moitra currently serves as the Chief Business Officer for Construction & Mining at Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited, leading the growth of this vertical since September 2025. Prior to this role, Moitra held various senior positions at Ashok Leyland from 2012 to September 2025, including Vice President for Sales & Marketing in the Power Gen Business, Special Projects, Retail Finance, and Long Haulage Business Unit, achieving significant market share increases and enhancing dealer satisfaction. Earlier experience includes general management roles at Asia Motor Works Limited and Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd, where Moitra established successful sales operations and marketing strategies. Moitra began a career in sales and marketing at Til-Tractor India and gained recognition for performance at Volvo Group. Educational qualifications include an Executive Development Program from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
