Taylor Mantick began their work experience in 2016 as a Project Engineer at S.P. Kinney Engineers, Inc. They then worked as the Director of Aerial Media Production at Spare Change TV from April 2017 to May 2018. From June 2018 to June 2019, Taylor worked as a Package Handler at UPS. In October 2019, they joined UAS Advanced Applications Facility | ERAU Prescott as a Laboratory Technician and stayed until December 2021. They then worked as the Remote Flight Instructor Program Lead at Pilot Institute from December 2021 to August 2022. Taylor's next role was as a Flight Test Technician at American Robotics from November 2022 to January 2023. Currently, they are working as a Flight Test Engineer at Autonodyne LLC from April 2023.
Taylor Mantick attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2019 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Taylor then pursued a Master of Science degree in Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Engineering at the same university. In terms of additional certifications, Taylor obtained the Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot In Command certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2019. They also obtained the Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent certification in January 2022. Furthermore, Taylor acquired the NQA-1 Lead Auditor - Quality Assurance Programs certification from the Nuclear Training Institute in April 2017.
