Andy Contesso

Andy Contesso currently serves as Directeur des affaires juridiques at Autorité de sûreté nucléaire (ASN) since October 2023. Previously, Andy held the position of Chef de département Contentieux at Commission de régulation de l'énergie from July 2014 to February 2024, overseeing the department responsible for litigation activities before various judicial bodies and the resolution of disputes. Andy has also contributed to education through teaching roles at MINES ParisTech and Sciences Po Strasbourg, focusing on energy regulation and dispute resolution. Other professional experiences include legal roles at GRTgaz, EDF, and the Ministère de la Transition écologique, complemented by a solid academic background with multiple master's degrees in public law and environmental law from prestigious universities.
