Oren Barklis

Oren Barklis has an extensive work history in the field of engineering and technology. Oren currently works at Autotalks as a Wireless Technology System Engineer. Prior to that, Oren worked at DRS RADA Technologies, holding various roles including Engineering Team Manager, Senior Product Manager & System Architect, and Radar System Engineer. Oren was responsible for the architecture, engineering, and management of high-end software defined sensors and radar systems. Before that, Oren worked at Camero as a Senior HW/SW Designer, where they managed a multi-disciplinary team and designed digital hardware and embedded firmware for ultra-wide-band imaging radars. Oren also has experience working at Elbit Systems Ltd as a Hardware Team Leader & Technical Manager, where they were responsible for electronics and embedded systems in the training & simulation hardware division. Additionally, Oren worked at J6 & Cyber Defense Directorate in the IDF, specializing in system engineering and product development. Overall, Oren Barklis has a diverse background and a strong skillset in engineering and technology.

Oren Barklis obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Economics, Funding, and Marketing from The Open University of Israel. Oren also has additional certifications, including Machine Learning from Coursera, obtained in January 2022; Nidan (DAN 2 Black Belt) in Gōjū-ryū (剛柔流) karate, obtained in June 2021; and a Certified Product Manager (CPM) certification from John Bryce, obtained in November 2020.
