Maurice Gunderson

Maurice Gunderson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maurice served as a Trustee for EAA Chapter 292 starting in 2023. Prior to that, Maurice was the Managing Director Emeritus at Autotech Ventures since 2013. Maurice also held the positions of Chairman of the Board, Director, and Lead Investor for Over Thirty Technology Companies since 1992. Maurice was the Managing Director of Shingebiss LLC since 1999. In addition, they served as a Commissioner for the CCC Airport Land Use Commission and Chair and Member at Large for the CCC Aviation Advisory Committee in Contra Costa County from 2015 to 2022. Maurice was a Board Representative for indie Semiconductor from 2018 to 2021. Maurice served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Gentherm from 2007 to 2020. Maurice held the role of Senior Advisor at Runway Capital Partners from 2011 to 2015. Maurice was also the Chairman of the Board for Contour Energy Systems, Inc. from 2007 to 2014. Lastly, Maurice served as a Member of the Expert Advisory Board for Scion-Sprays Ltd. from 2006 to 2012.

Maurice Gunderson completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in the years 1983-1985. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University in the years 1970-1974. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Thermodynamics, at Oregon State University in the years 1974-1975. Maurice also obtained a certification as a Registered Professional Engineer from the California Department of Consumer Affairs in 1977 and received the designation of Board Leadership Fellow from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
