Mikko Peltomäki has a wide range of work experience, beginning with a Summer Trainee role at NewCo Helsinki / City of Helsinki in 2011. Mikko then took on a Project Assistant role at the same company. In 2012, they began working as a Digital Marketing Freelancer at Lifter. In 2013, they were a Product Management Trainee at Rovio Entertainment Ltd. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Digital Performance Planner at Dagmar, where they planned digital marketing for several clients. In 2017, they held three roles at POP Vakuutus: Head Of Marketing, Head Of Digital Marketing & Online Analytics, and Digital Performance Manager. In 2020, they became a Digital Marketing & Analytics Freelancer (Part-time) at Lifter. Currently, they are a Senior Digital Strategist at Bluebird Media and a Head of Digital Marketing & Analytics at AutoVex.

Mikko Peltomäki has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, which they obtained between 2010 and 2016. Mikko also attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2015 to study Marketing. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor from the Estonian Business School in Business Administration between 2008 and 2009. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki in December 2019, Email Marketing from HubSpot in October 2019, Advanced Google Analytics from Google in November 2019, Google Analytics for Power Users from Google in November 2019, Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in November 2019, SEO Fundamentals from SEMrush in November 2019, Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in October 2019, Google Tag Manager Certification from Google in October 2019, Adform Programmatic Certification from Adform in January 2020, AdWords Certifications from Google, Digital Analytics Fundamentals from Google, and DoubleClick for Search Fundamentals from DoubleClick.
