Tim Parker has a diverse range of work experience in various technology-related roles. Tim was the CTO at Auvenir, where they focused on improving the engagement experience for clients in the accounting and assurance industry. Prior to that, they held several positions at TD Bank, including Head of Hosting Strategy and Architecture, Head of End-to-end Solution Design, Business Requirements, and Testing, and Head of Engineering Strategy. At MindGeek, they served as the Vice President of Engineering, overseeing highly trafficked websites and managing developers globally. Tim was also the Chief Technology Officer at SecureEOL, where they developed enterprise-based end-of-life solutions for secure content deletion on computers and mobile devices. Tim held the position of Vice President of Technology at MundoMedia, a new media technology company, and Vice President of Development at WinMagic, a leader in encryption technology. Tim also worked as the Vice President of Research & Development at Absolute Software, where they focused on theft recovery and asset management. Tim gained experience in offshore development and telecommunications projects as the Vice President of Development at Computer Sciences Corporation, and served as the Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at TMA Solutions, a large outsourcing company in Vietnam. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Dream Multimedia, leading their software development initiatives. Tim Parker's education history is as follows:
From 1976 to 1980, they attended the University of Toronto and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry.
In 1980, they continued their studies at the University of Ottawa and earned another Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry.
From 1981 to 1985, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Ottawa.
In 1982 and 1983, they also completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Ottawa.
From 1996 to 1999, Tim enrolled in Swinburne University of Technology and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
In 2000 to 2003, they studied at the University of Liverpool and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
In 2006, they received a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma from Bright, Cofield & Harris.
In 2013, Tim attended Georgian College and became a Certified Financial Planner.
