Payal Jain

Payal Jain has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Payal started their career at Barclaycard as an Off-Shoring Manager in 2004, and then moved on to EnterCard International, where they held positions such as Head of CVM in Sweden, Head of Commercial Management in Denmark, and Credit Risk Director. In 2012, Payal returned to Barclaycard as the Chief of Staff for Barclaycard Consumer Europe and later became the Managing Director of Strategic Analytics for Barclaycard Europe & UK.

In 2016, Payal ventured into consulting and founded DT1 CONSULTING LTD, where they served as Managing Director. Additionally, they became the Chair of Women in Data®, a position they have held since 2016, advocating for women's empowerment in the data industry. Payal also joined JCURV as the Managing Director in 2018, providing strategic guidance to the company.

Payal continued to expand their boardroom experience by joining Jaja Finance as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Risk & Audit Committee in 2020, and auxmoney as part of the Strategic Advisory Committee. Most recently, in 2022, Payal joined Finance Ireland as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of RemCo.

Throughout their career, Payal has demonstrated their expertise in risk management, commercial strategy, and data analytics within the financial sector. Payal is known for their leadership skills and commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

Payal Jain completed their education at two prestigious institutions. From 1994 to 1998, they attended the University of Oxford, where they pursued a degree in Maths & Teaching. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Management Science and Operational Research from 1999 to 2000.
