JIRA Administrator

Job Description: Jira Administrator (3 Month Contract)

Objective:

Auxo Solutions is seeking a Jira Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist in setting up and configuring Jira boards and workflows. The role involves optimizing our Jira environment to enhance project management, custom application development efficiency and team collaboration. We expect this candidate to work between 20 and 32 hours/week. 

Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure Jira boards to align with project requirements.

• Design and implement workflows to streamline project management processes.

• Ability to create, customize, and optimize JIRA dashboards to meet the needs of various projects and teams.

• Provide training and support to team members on Jira best practices.

• Ensure integration of Jira with other project management tools.

• Conduct regular audits and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Jira configuration and usage.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Jira administrator and super user

• Proven experience as a Jira SME, with expertise in setting up and managing Jira environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to aid in Jira setup and management.

• Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, dashboards and configurations.

• Experience with Jira integrations and automation tools.

• Excellent communication and training skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in startup environments.
• Certification in Jira Administration or related field.
• Experience in a consulting or project-based role.
